PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a half-sitting work supporting device capable of simplifying the attaching labor and the using method, reducing the load on a waist of a half-sitting worker in a green house or the like as much as possible, easily realizing the droopy posture according to the work, reducing the occurrence of any physical trouble caused by the half-sitting work, and realizing the efficient work.SOLUTION: A load supporting mechanism body 2 is provided on the lower side of a supporter 1 to be placed on a back of a worker A. A spring pressing mechanism having a load absorbing spring is provided in a casing 3 of the load supporting mechanism body 2, and the load is supported by the load absorbing spring via a load transmission mechanism 22 having an operating rod 29 interlocked with the movement of a thigh part of the worker A.
