PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably dispose an element, a mechanism or the like at a side frame between the side frame and an outside plate, moreover not to cause obstacle to the disposing of the outside plate, and to dispose the side frame and the outside plate without useless thickness by a high dimensional accuracy.SOLUTION: In the side frame 2a and the outside plate 3a of an anti-handle side, the back sides becoming a rear side from an axis O1 of a spool shaft 5c of a spool 5 in a rod extending direction of a reel body 1 are mutually butted on the same plane, and front upper parts becoming an upper part of a vertical direction of the reel body 1 at a front side of the axis O1 of the spool shaft 5c in a rod extending direction of the reel body 1 are mutually butted at a position becoming an anti-handle side rather than the same plane.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】側枠と外側板との間において側枠に構成要素や機構等を好適に設け、また、外側板の取り付けに支障を来さず、無駄な厚みを無くして側枠と外側板とを高い寸法精度で取り付ける。【解決手段】側枠2aと反ハンドル側の外側板3aとは、リール本体1の竿延在方向におけるスプール5のスプール軸5cの軸心O1から後側となる後部同士が同一平面上で突き合わされているとともに、リール本体1の竿延在方向におけるスプール軸5cの軸心O1の前方において当該リール本体1の鉛直方向の上側となる前側上部同士が、同一平面よりも反ハンドル側となる位置で突き合わされている構成とした。【選択図】図2
