PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiographic imaging device which can transmit preview image data to a console without interruption of transmission when detecting radiation exposure has been started on its own system, so that the preview images can be displayed on the console early.SOLUTION: A control means 22 of a radiographic imaging device 1 detects the start of radiation exposure based upon leak data (dleak) read out before photographing radiation images, and once detecting the start of radiation exposure, it retrieves image data (D) after getting through a charge accumulating state. Then, after getting the leak data (dleak) read out as it transmits preview image data (Dt) to a console 58, it allows off-set data (O) to be read out under a non-exposure state. After finishing the reading of the image data (D), it also allows the leak data (dleak) to be read out until the transmission of the preview image data (Dt) is completed.
