The present invention relates to antibodies which bind to C5aR and which areuseful in diagnostic and therapeutic methods. The antibodies of the presentinvention are reactive with an extracellular loop of C5aR other than the N-terminal domain and are capable of substantially reducing or inhibiting thebinding of C5a to C5aR and functional consequences of neutrophilchemoattractant receptor activation.
