PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be able to efficiently perform sterilization of food and drink materials by using a high voltage pulse.SOLUTION: The sterilization apparatus for food and drink includes: at least two electrodes 11 and 12 forming an electrode pair 14 each having through-holes 15 and 16, respectively, through which food and drink materials flow. A spacer 21 made of an insulating material is disposed between the electrodes 11 and 12, and a communication hole 24 communicating with the through-holes 15 and 16 is formed in the spacer 21. A high voltage pulse of 200 V or higher per 1 mm distance between the electrode 11 and 12 is applied to the electrode pair 14 from a power supply unit.
