[Problem] To provide a shampoo composition which produces good shine, has a stable pearl appearance and maintains uniformity of dispersion even when stored in high-temperature conditions, and has good feel during rinsing and good ease of styling during hair drying after shampooing. [Solution] A shampoo composition containing: (A) a pearlizer liquid dispersion comprising (A1) a fatty acid glycol ester, (A2) a polyoxyethylene fatty acid monoalkanol amide in which the average number of added moles of an ethylene oxide (EO) is 1-5, (A3) a polyhydric alcohol, (A4) a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfate, and (A5) water, the mass ratio A1/A2 of the component (A1) and the component (A2) being 0.5-4, and the mass ratio (A1 + A2)/A3 of the component (A1), the component (A2), and the component (A3) being 20-100； and (B) a sulfate-type anionic surfactant having a sulfate residue including the component (A4).
