More specifically, the device comprises: a sensing unit for sensing a defective signal of cardiac impulse a cardiac impulse inducing unit for inducing cardiac impulse by an electrical active polymer and a control unit for receiving the defective signal from the sensing unit, and controlling the cardiac impulse inducing unit. According to the device for assisting cardiac impulse by using an electrical active polymer and the method for assisting cardiac impulse by using the same, cardiac impulse is induced by using an electrical active polymer. An electrical active polymer wrapping the heart simultaneously and directly shrinks and relaxes with the heart to induce cardiac impulse.
