A cosmetic agent is disclosed for temporarily shaping keratin fibers, in particular human hair, comprising in each case in relation to the total weight of the composition - a) from about 10 to about 45 % by weight of at least one clay mineral. b) from about 30 to about 60 % by weight of at least three natural fat compounds. and c) from about 2 to about 15 % by weight of at least one emulsifier. The agent does not contain petroleum jelly which minimises a greasy/oily sheen on the hair and also replaces petroleum-based raw materials in such agents with more renewable and natural raw materials. Also disclosed are cosmetic methods and uses involving such agents in the temporary reshaping of keratin fibers.
