PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide therapeutic agents for acute myeloid leukemia (AML), which give reduction of cancer cell proliferation, stabilization and reduction of the amount of cancer cells, stabilization and reduction of the amount of blast, improvement of hematopoietic function, and/or improvement of myeloblast index.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a method for inhibiting an interleukin-3 receptor-expressing cell, and a method for inhibiting such a cell by using diphtheria toxin-human interleukin-3 conjugate (DT-IL3) that is toxic for cells expressing an interleukin-3 receptor.
