PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exercise information measuring apparatus capable of providing a user with an added value using a short-range wireless communication function, while suppressing power consumption, control method of the exercise information measuring apparatus, and control program of the exercise information measuring apparatus.SOLUTION: An exercise information measuring apparatus 10 includes: a body motion detection part 1 for detecting information corresponding to movement of a user； a communication part 3 for executing short-range wireless communication with another device having a function of measuring exercise information of the user； a sound detection part 6 for detecting sound； and a control part 2 that measures exercise information of the user on the basis of the information detected by the body motion detection part 1, determines presence of a person on the basis of the sound detected by the sound detection part 6, and controls the operation state of the communication part 3 on the basis of the determination result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】消費電力を抑制しながら、近距離無線通信機能を利用した付加価値を利用者に提供することのできる運動情報測定装置、その制御方法、及びその制御プログラムを提供する。【解決手段】運動情報測定装置１０は、利用者の動きに応じた情報を検出する体動検出部１と、利用者の運動情報を測定する機能を有する他装置と近距離無線通信を行うための通信部３と、音を検出する音検出部６と、体動検出部１により検出される情報に基づいて利用者の運動情報を測定し、音検出部６により検出された音に基づいて人の存在を判定し、この判定結果に基づいて通信部３の動作状態を制御する制御部２と、を備える。【選択図】図１
