PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin particle that gives not only spreadability and smoothness but dry touch to a cosmetic, and singly also gives smoothness and dry touch, and gives good dispersibility in a hydrophobic medium.SOLUTION: The crosslinked (meth)acrylate resin particle is produced by copolymerizing a monomeric component containing a (meth)acrylate and a carboxyl group containing monomer, and at least one part of the surface of which is coated with a polyether modified silicone.
