PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which assembly work becomes more difficult the smaller a diameter of a scanning type probe becomes.SOLUTION: A scanning type probe comprises: an optical fiber an actuator which is attached to a distal end part of the optical fiber and vibrates the distal end part a signal line which is connected to an actuator and supplies a drive signal a housing cylinder that houses the distal end part of the optical fiber to which the actuator connected to the signal line is attached a cap part which closes a base end opening formed at a base end of the housing cylinder and a plurality of drawing passages for drawing each of the optical fiber and the signal line to the outside of the housing cylinder via the cap part.
