Provided is an oil-in-water type emulsified sunscreen cosmetic which contains (a) 0.1 to 5.0 mass % of an organosiloxane derivative represented by general formula (1) (in the formula, at least one of R1 to R3 is a functional group represented by -O-Si(R4)3 (R4 is an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or a phenyl group), and the remaining R1 to R3 groups may be the same or different and are substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon groups, M is a hydrogen atom, a metal atom or an organic cation, and A is a straight chain or branched chain alkylene group represented by CqH2q, wherein q is an integer of 0 to 20), (b) 0.1 to 5.0 mass % of poly(ethylene glycol) stearate, (c) 10.0 to 25.0 mass % of an ultraviolet radiation absorber and (d) a higher alcohol.
