Disclosed are an ultrasonic image display method and an apparatus for the same. The ultrasonic image display method according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a display part displaying a first cine frame selected by a user among a plurality of cine frames on a first area on a screen of an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus； a user input part receiving a user input for inputting additional information on the displayed first cine frame； and a control part which generates a reference frame based on the inputted additional information and the first cine frame and controls the generated reference frame to be displayed on a second area on the screen.복수의 시네 프레임 중 사용자에 의해 선택된 제 1 시네 프레임을 초음파 진단 장치의 화면 상의 제 1 영역 상에 디스플레이하는 디스플레이부, 디스플레이된 제 1 시네 프레임 상에 부가 정보를 입력하는 사용자 입력을 수신하는 사용자 입력부, 및 입력된 부가 정보 및 제 1 시네 프레임에 기초하여, 참조 프레임을 생성하고, 생성된 참조 프레임이 화면 상의 제 2 영역 상에 디스플레이되도록 디스플레이부를 제어하는 제어부를 포함하는, 일 실시예에 따른 초음파 진단 장치가 개시된다.
