The present invention relates to an Oxya chinensis sinuosa extract having anti-inflammatory activities, and to a composition comprising the same. The Oxya chinensis sinuosa extract having anti-inflammatory activities of the present invention is obtained by extracting Oxya chinensis sinuosa with ethanol. In different perspectives, provided are: a pharmaceutical composition comprising the Oxya chinensis sinuosa extract as an active ingredient for preventing and treating inflammatory diseases and a food composition for alleviating inflammatory diseases. According to the present invention, the Oxya chinensis sinuosa extract having anti-inflammatory activities and a composition comprising the same have excellent safety without cytotoxicity, as natural resources derived from insects, and have anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting the expression of an inflammation-related factor.
