PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base, that is excellent in easiness for applying to the skin, has less stickiness and skin compatibility like the application of a natural vegetable oil, while the base having no oiliness and can be prescribed by premixing with a polyhydric alcohol without heating, and to provide a composition for cosmetics containing the base, and a cosmetic composition containing these.SOLUTION: There are provided a base obtained by the reaction of (A) a glycerol condensate, (B) a vegetable oil derived from a natural product, and (C) a dibasic acid； and a composition for cosmetics containing the base. Preferably, based on 1 mole equivalent of the (A) glycerol condensate, 0.1-1.0 mole equivalent of the (B) vegetable oil derived from a natural product is added so as to cause the reaction. Also, preferably, based on 1 mole equivalent of the (A) glycerol condensate, 0.1-1.0 mole equivalent of the (C) dibasic acid is added so as to cause the reaction.SELECTED DRAWING: None【課題】皮膚への塗布容易性に優れ、べたつきが少なく、かつ天然植物油脂が塗布されたような肌なじみを有する一方で油っぽさのない基剤であって、予め多価アルコールと混合することにより加熱することなく容易に処方することが可能な基剤及びこれを含有する化粧料用組成物並びにこれらを含有する化粧料組成物を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】（Ａ）グリセリン縮合物と、（Ｂ）天然由来の植物油脂と、（Ｃ）二塩基酸と、を反応して得られる基剤並びに該基剤を含有する化粧料用組成物を提供する。前記（Ａ）グリセリン縮合物１モル当量に対して、（Ｂ）天然由来の植物油脂を０．１～１．０モル当量添加して反応させることが好ましい。また、前記（Ａ）グリセリン縮合物１モル当量に対して、（Ｃ）二塩基酸を０．１～１．０モル当量添加して反応させることが好ましい。【選択図】なし
