The device for evaporating volatile substances comprises a wick (1) impregnated with volatile substances and a heating element (2) that heats the wick (1) for evaporating said volatile substances, characterized in that it also comprises a reflective element (3) for reflecting the heat from the heating element (2) to said wick (1). The heating element (2) can be preferably a resistor or a ceramic heater. It permits to direct substantially all the heat provided by the heating element to the wick, preventing an excessive rising of the temperature of the surface of the device.El dispositivo para evaporar sustancias volátiles comprende una mecha (1) impregnada con sustancias volátiles y un elemento de calentamiento (2) que calienta la mecha (1) para evaporar dichas sustancias volátiles, caracterizado por que comprende también un elemento reflectante (3) para reflejar el calor del elemento de calentamiento (2) a dicha mecha (1). El elemento de calentamiento (2) puede ser preferentemente una resistencia o un calentador de cerámica. Permite dirigir sustancialmente todo el calor proporcionado por el elemento de calentamiento a la mecha, evitando un aumento excesivo de la temperatura de la superficie del dispositivo.
