PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article for women in which, the absorbent article is a disposable state and can be disposed as it is, and the disposable state can be easily formed, a use surface is not exposed and excellent in shape stability.SOLUTION: A napkin 1 comprises a main body 5 and a belt-state elastic member 10 used when the main body 5 is disposed. The belt-state elastic member 10 is fixed to a main body front part 5F in a state that a longitudinal direction of the elastic member is along a lateral direction Y, in a state that the main body 5 is not shrunk in the lateral direction Y. Both ends of the belt-state elastic member 10 in the longitudinal direction are fixing parts 11 with the main body front part 5F, and a part sandwiched between both fixing parts 11, 11 is not fixed to the main body 5, and serves as a non-fixing part 12 capable of expanding and shrinking in the longitudinal direction of the belt-state elastic member 10. The non-fixing part 12 faces a non-skin facing face 5b of the main body front part 5F, during non-use time of the belt-state elastic member 10.
