The present invention provides peptides at least partly derivable from FVIIIwhich are capable of binding to anMHC class II molecule without further antigen processing and being recognisedby a factor VIII specific T cell. In particular, thepresent invention provides a peptide comprising or consisting of the sequenceEDNIMVTFRNQASR. The present invention alsorelates to the use of such a peptide for the prevention or suppression ofinhibitor antibody formation in haemophilia A and/oracquired haemophilia.
