<p>The apparatus (1) i.e. hedge trimmer (2), has a rotating flywheel arranged between a gear assembly and an electric motor around a rotational axis. An output shaft and the flywheel are mounted in a housing (7) over two bearing points such that the rotational axis of the flywheel and a rotational axis of a motor shaft lie coaxial to each other. The flywheel is rotational fixedly connected to the motor shaft. The electric motor is further fixed in the housing exclusively by a torque support, and comprises a bearing plate, which is fixed in the housing and made of elastic material.</p>
