The present invention relates to a new technology for in vitro obtaining potato micro-tubers for seeding purposes, from healthy potato sprouts inoculated on a nutritive growing and rooting medium, MS 1962, wherefrom, in the growing chamber, after 3-4 weeks there are obtained plantlets of 5-6 cm which are subjected to micro-cutting. Each micro-cutting is then inoculated in medium MS 1962 additivated with &alpha naphtyl acetic acid and solidified with agar-agar. After 3-4 weeks, from the micro-cuttings there is formed a new plantlet of 5-7 cm. The plantlet is cut in mini-cuttings, the operation being repeated as many times as necessary, with a 4-5 times multiplication at every 3-4 weeks. The resulting mini-cuttings are used for producing micro-tubers by their cultivation on a solid basic medium MS 1962 specific to the growing and rooting stage. The resulting 4-5 cm plantlets are, then, horizontally inoculated, 4-5/box, in the same medium. After 3-4 weeks, to the new plantlets, developed from each internode, there is added a tuberization medium comprising kinetin, coumarin and saccharose in a concentration of 80...90 g/l. After 6-8 weeks, the micro-tubers are harvested, there resulting the highest quantity of micro-tubers > 10 mm and > 1 g.Prezenta invenţie se referă la o nouă tehnologie, pentru obţinereaa microtuberculilor de cartof pentru sămânţă, din colţi de cartof sănătoşi, inoculaţi pe mediu nutritiv de creştere şi înrădăcinare, MS 1962, din care, în camera de creştere, se obţin, după 3-4 săptămâni, plantule de 5-6 cm, care se supun microbutăşirii. Fiecare microbutaş este apoi inoculat în mediu MS 1962, aditivat cu acid alfanaftil acetic şi solidificat cu agar-agar. După 3-4 săptămâni, din microbutaşi, se formează o plantulă nouă, de 5-7 cm. Aceasta se secţionează în minibutaşi, operaţia repetându-se de câte ori este nevoie, cu un coeficient de multiplicare, la fiecare 3-4 săptămâni, de 4-5 ori.
