PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength sweeping light source device enabling stable oscillation in a wide-range wavelength band.SOLUTION: A light source device comprises: an optical gain medium for amplifying light a dispersive element for dispersing light emitted from the optical gain medium on the basis of wavelength and a wavelength selection element. The variable oscillation wavelength light source device emits light with a predetermined wavelength, selected by the wavelength selection element, from the light with different wavelengths that are emitted from the optical gain medium and are dispersed by the dispersive element. The light source device comprises a plurality of the optical gain media. The plurality of optical gain media has different gain wavelength bands that partially overlap with each other and have different maximum gain wavelengths.
