PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of evaluating the surface state of skin, capable of easily and accurately quantifying a phenomenon of an unfavorable surface reflection, called "shining" or "glaring", on a facial skin.SOLUTION: In the method of evaluating the surface state of the skin, the skin of a subject is photographed to obtain digital image data on the reflection information of the skin surface and digital image data on the color information of the skin, the pixel number of the image data representing the surface reflection light is obtained out of the image data representing the surface reflection light and image data not representing surface reflection light both included in the digital image data for the reflection information, the brightness of the skin color is calculated from the digital image data for the color information, and the surface state of the skin is evaluated based on the pixel number of the image data representing the surface reflection light and the brightness of the skin color.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】顔面皮膚上の好ましくない表面反射である「テカり」や「ギラつき」と呼ばれる現象を簡便かつ的確に定量化することができる皮膚の表面状態の評価方法を提供すること。【解決手段】被験者の皮膚を撮影し、皮膚表面の反射情報のデジタル画像データおよび皮膚の色情報のデジタル画像データを取得し、前記反射情報のデジタル画像データに含まれている表面反射光を示す画像データおよび表面反射光を示さない画像データのうち、表面反射光を示す画像データの画素数を求め、前記色情報のデジタル画像データから皮膚色の明るさを求め、前記表面反射光を示す画像データの画素数と前記皮膚色の明るさとから皮膚の表面状態を評価することを特徴とする皮膚の表面状態の評価方法。【選択図】なし
