<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire having sufficient rigidity for guiding devices such as a micro-catheter, retaining the shape when the guide wire is shaped, and having high stability. <；P>；SOLUTION: The guide wire 10 includes an inner coil 50 made of a plurality of entwined wires for surrounding the distal end of a core shaft 14, and an outer coil 60 including a roughly wound part 62a with wires wound separately from one another on the distal end side and a tightly wound part with wires wound in contact with one another on the rear end side for surrounding the inner coil 50 and the distal end side of the core shaft 14. An inner rear end joint 52 of the inner coil 50 joins the rear end of the inner coil 50 to the core shaft 14 only on the rear end side of the roughly wound part 62a of the outer coil 60 and on the distal end side of an outer rear end joint 64 of the outer coil 60. <；P>；COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
