PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hemocyte removal module having no problems such as deflation before use and intra-circuit coagulation in blood circulation and highly efficiently removing leukocyte and platelet.
SOLUTION: This hemocyte removal module 10 is provided with a case body 21, a pair of meshes 30a and 30b, a pair of headers 40a and 40b, and hemocyte removal adsorbent 50. The hemocyte removal adsorbent 50 is stored in the interior of the case body 21 clamped between the pair of meshes 30a and 30b. The hemocyte removal adsorbent 50 is a hollow fiber-like or solid fiber-like staple, and its length is preferably 1-60% of the inside diameter of the case body, more preferably 18-56%.
