PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infusion set, a patch pump or the elements of them having an exemplary catheter provided with one or more of channels, grooves and coatings configured and arranged to provide a degree of strength and flexibility.SOLUTION: A catheter 14 can also have an exemplary flexible union with a hub 12 having at least one of a ball-and-socket joint, a sliding plate and a flexible bushing, and it is sealed to allow even further movement of the catheter while preventing leakage of medication through the junction.
