PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-in-water type emulsified cosmetic containing a metal oxide that hardly changes at high temperature or with passage of time, and spreads smoothly on the skin when applied, giving fresh and refreshing feeling of use.SOLUTION: The oil-in-water type emulsified cosmetic includes component (A): the metal oxide coated with triethoxycaprylylsilane in an inner oil phase, as well as component (B): xanthan gum and carrageenan, and component (C): polyoxyethylene-hardened castor oil having an average addition mole number of 80-100 of polyoxyethylene in an outer water phase, wherein the composition includes 1-5 wt.% of component (A), 0.05-0.3 wt.% of component (B) and 0.1-1.0 wt.% of component (C) relative to the total amount of the oil-in-water type emulsified cosmetic.
