PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a possibility of leakage of a medicinal solution to an environment after separating a connector and a container.SOLUTION: A connector 1 for a medical container includes a puncture needle 20 with which a plug body 186 for sealing a mouth 183 of a container 180 can be punctured and a cover 90 for covering an opening on a tip end side of a flow passage 21 formed in the puncture needle. The puncture needle 20 is configured to penetrate through the cover 90 and to puncture the plug body 186. The puncture needle 20 is provided on a connector body 10. The cover 90 is held by a slider 50. The slider 50 is movable relative to the connector body 10 in a longitudinal direction of the puncture needle 20. The slider 50 is equipped with nails 66, 76 that can engage a flange 182 of the mouth of the container 180.
