SOLUTION: A patterned cosmetic 1 is one in which a pattern 3 is applied to the surface of a cosmetic 2. The pattern 3 has a color different from that of the cosmetic material 2, and includes first dots 31A and second dots 31B having an area smaller than that of the first dots. Then, the shading of the color is expressed by a combination of a plurality of dots of the same color including the first dot and the second dot. Specifically, the color of the pattern 3 is expressed darkly in the vicinity of the first dot. In addition, the color of the pattern 3 is expressed lightly in the vicinity of the second dot.
