The present invention relates to a Tussilago farfara L. plant extract, which is a new TRAIL sensitizer and can enhance an anti-cancer effect of the TRAIL by increasing apoptotic susceptibility of TRAIL. A composition including the Tussilago farfara L. plant extract and the TRAIL induces apoptosis of river cancer cells resistant to the TRAIL and is not cytotoxic.
