A medical valve system of the type in question has a valve housing with at least two medicament inlets which are fluidically connected in each case to a medicament outlet arranged on an inner circumferential surface of the housing, a valve body which is arranged at least partially in the valve housing and which is rotatable about a rotation axis relative to the inner circumferential surface of thehousing, with an outer circumferential surface of the body and an inner body surface and with a passageway arranged on the outer circumferential surface of the body, a flushing inlet which is fluidically connected to a flushing outlet, and - a valve outlet which is fluidically connected to the passageway, - wherein the valve body is rotatable to at least two medicament positions and at least oneflushing position, is known. 2.2 According to the invention, the flushing inlet and the valve outlet are arranged on the valve body. The invention further relates to use of the medical valve system ininfusion therapy.
