591642 A combined ear and eye protection apparatus (100) with an eye protector assembly (110) and two earmuff style ear protectors (120, 125) is disclosed. An eye protector forms a barrier for protecting a wearers eyes and includes arms (130, 135 - not shown) for permitting positioning on a wearers head (105). The ear protectors have a mounting (150, 155 - not shown) located toward an upper edge of the ear protector for rotationally attaching the arms of the eye protector. The arms of the eye protector are resiliently urged inwardly to grip the wearers head and support the apparatus in place when worn so the ear protectors can be operatively held relative to a wearers ears so that one ear protector can cover one ear and the other ear protector can cover the other ear. The eye protector assembly can be moved rotationally relative to the ear protectors between a first position where a body of the apparatus rests on the wearers face to provide protection to the wearers eyes and ears and an alternative position where the body rests in a position where protection is not provided to the wearers eyes but is provided to the wearers ears.
