Dazu wird ein Anpassverfahren vorgeschlagen, bei dem eine Perzentilanalyse (10) zum Gewinnen mindestens eines Frequenzgangs der Hörvorrichtung gewonnen und eine Abweichung (11) des Frequenzgangs von einer Zielverstärkungskennlinie bestimmt wird. Anschliessend wird eine Einstellung der Hörvorrichtung geändert (12), sodass die Abweichung verringert wird. Zur Überprüfung der Wirkung der Einstellungsänderung wird ein aktueller Frequenzgang (13) nach dem Ändern der Einstellung mittels. Darbieten eines konstanten Rauschsignals oder eines einzigen Sinus-Sweep am Eingang der Hörvorrichtung und Pegelmessung am Ausgang bestimmt.
