PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape type disposable diaper having a fastening tape capable of securing strength and rigidity and preventing tears and breakage even while securing flexibility and stretchability.
SOLUTION: The fastening tape 5 has a fixed part 5f fixed to the side flap part SF of a back side part and a projection part 5e projected from the back side part, and the projection part 5e has a distal end part 5p provided with a connection part 9 and a main body part 5b more on the proximal end side than the distal end part 5p. The fastening tape 5 has a basic nonwoven fabric layer 51 over the fixed part 5f, the main body part 5b and the distal end part 5p, and a thin and long elastic member 20 is fixed in a stretched state by a hot melt adhesive so as to form a triangular wave shape crossing the main body part 5b and extending in the vertical direction of the fastening tape 5 while moving back and forth between the fixed part 5f and the distal end part 5p.
