PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the height of the upper horizontal bar member of a side rail to be increased during storage while satisfying a size specified in the IEC standards.SOLUTION: The foldable side rail turnably connects a plurality of support members 2 so as to form parallel linking mechanisms between the upper horizonal bar member 1u and the lower horizontal bar member 1d and is provided with a holding mechanism 5 holding the support members in a standing posture.
