PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily producing a polyphenol composition in a state of a solid material excellent in solubility in water.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a polyphenol composition, the method comprising the following steps of (1) and (2): (1) heating a mixture of (A) hardly water-soluble polyphenols and (B) water-soluble polyphenols at a temperature of the lowest melting point or higher than the glass transition temperature of (A) hardly water-soluble polyphenols and (B) water-soluble polyphenols to obtain a heat-treated liquid； and (2) cooling to solidify the resulting heat-treated liquid.【課題】水への溶解性に優れる固体物の状態のポリフェノール組成物を簡便に製造する方法の提供。【解決手段】次の工程（１）及び（２）：（１）（Ａ）難水溶性ポリフェノール類と（Ｂ）水溶性ポリフェノール類の混合物を、（Ａ）難水溶性ポリフェノール類又は（Ｂ）水溶性ポリフェノール類の最も低い融点又はガラス転移点以上の温度に加熱し、加熱処理液を得る工程、（２）得られた加熱処理液を冷却し、固化させる工程、を含む、ポリフェノール組成物の製造方法。【選択図】なし
