Provided are compositions, methods of manufacture and methods of use pertaining to anti-C5/C5a/C5adesR antibodies and antigen binding fragments. Specifically, the disclosure provides an isolated antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof which immunospecifically binds to one or more of a C5 polypeptide, a C5a polypeptide and a C5adesR polypeptide, and has one or more of the characteristics including affinity (Kd) for the antigen(s) that binds, and activity in inhibiting one or more functions mediated by associated antigens. Further disclosed are sequences for each antibody.
