With use of the analysis block, the first signal is extracted with information about vital signs from the first set of detected data using photoplethysmography and the signal of movement of the indicated body part is extracted as the second signal with information about vital signs from the second set of detected data. Motion signal contains an overlay of breathing and heart rate information. Using the processing unit combine the first and second signals to obtain a combined signal. Using the processing unit, remove information about the heart rate from the motion signal using the selected heart rate signal and weigh the first and second signals using the first and second quality indicators, respectively, and combine the weighted first and second signals to obtain a weighted signal.
