PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic sheet composition which can be used for a mouse guard, or a split for the prevention of bruxism or orthodontics in expectation of the preventive effect against dental caries, and is also excellent in compatibility when it is fitted.SOLUTION: The invention provides a thermoplastic sheet composition for producing a mouse guard or split using an ion sustained release glass-containing material. An ion sustained-release glass sustainedly releases fluoride ions, and further sustainedly releases divalent to quadrivalent ions, such as aluminium ions, strontium ions, and boric acid ions. When the thermoplastic sheet composition is used, molding at a low temperature is enabled, distortion attributed to heating is decreased, and compatibility when a cast is fitted is increased. When it is applied intraorally, an excellent effect on the improvement of an intraoral environment is also exhibited by the effect of dentin strengthening, secondary caries inhibition, decalcification inhibition, remineralization, and the like, because fluoride ions and divalent to tetravalent metal ions are sustainedly released from the ion sustained release glass which is contained in the thermoplastic sheet composition.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】マウスガードや歯軋り防止又は歯列矯正用に用いるスプリット等に用いて、齲蝕の予防効果が期待でき、更には装着時の適合性に優れた熱可塑性シート組成物の提供。【解決手段】イオン徐放性ガラスを含む材料を用いた、マウスガード又はスプリット作製用熱可塑性シート組成物。イオン徐放性ガラスがフッ化物イオンを徐放し、更にアルミニウムイオン、ストロンチウムイオン、ホウ酸イオン等の2~4価のイオンを徐放するガラスである。【効果】前記熱可塑性シート組成物を用いると、低い温度での成型が可能となり、加熱に起因した歪みが低減し、成型品を装着した時の適合性が向上する。亦、熱可塑性シート組成物に含まれるイオン徐放性ガラスからフッ化物イオン及び2~4価の金属イオンが徐放するため口腔内への適用時には歯質強化、二次齲蝕抑制、脱灰抑制、再石灰化等の働きにより口腔内環境の健全化に対して優れた効果を発現する。【選択図】なし
