PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide user-friendly long-length medical instrument.SOLUTION: A catheter 1 includes a long-length body portion (tubular body) 10 having a coil layer 11 formed of a plurality of coils 111-114 disposed at different positions in the longitudinal direction of the catheter 1 and an outer layer 12 for covering the plurality of coils 111-114. The coil layer 11 extends along the longitudinal direction of the catheter 1. The plurality of coils 111-114 are disposed in such a way that the axial direction thereof is along the longitudinal direction of the catheter 1.
