The present invention relates to a flow generator for generating a flow of breathable air to be delivered to a patient for treatment of sleep disordered breathing, the flow generator comprising: a housing including an inlet chamber having an air flow inlet configured to allow air to enter the housing and an air flow outlet； and a blower provided within the housing and structured to generate a flow of pressurized breathable air, wherein the housing provides an air flow path from the air flow inlet into the inlet chamber towards a blower inlet of the blower, and wherein the inlet air flow path comprises a semi-tortuous path to reduce noise.
