To solve the following problem: misalignment in a direction of rotation occurs when a bone plate to fix a fracture of a hand is placed.SOLUTION: A bone plate 100 sized and shaped for fixation to one of phalangeal and metacarpal bones, includes a head 104 and a shaft 108. The head has an elongated curved plate hole 122. The elongated curved plate hole extends along a curved path 123 from a top surface to a bone contacting surface of the bone plate and is curved toward a central longitudinal axis 110 of the bone plate to receive a bone fixation element therein. The shaft extends from the head and includes an elongated shaft plate hole 152 extending from the top surface to the bone contacting surface of the bone plate. The elongated shaft plate hole is elongated in a direction extending orthogonal to the central longitudinal axis of the bone plate and a plate hole axis 154 of the elongated shaft plate hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】手の骨折を固定するための骨プレートを配置するとき、回転方向の位置合せ不良が発生する。【解決手段】骨プレート１００は、指節骨及び中手骨の１つに固定するためのサイズ及び形状で、ヘッド１０４とシャフト１０８を備え、ヘッドは、細長い湾曲したプレート穴１２２を有し、細長い湾曲したプレート穴は、湾曲した経路１２３に沿って骨プレートの上面から骨接触面へと延在し、骨プレートの中央長手方向軸線に向かって湾曲し、中に骨固定要素を受容するように構成されており、シャフトは、ヘッドから延び、骨プレートの上面から骨接触面へと延在する細長いシャフトプレート穴１５２を含み、細長いシャフトプレート穴は、骨プレートの中央長手方向軸線１１０、及び細長いシャフトプレート穴のプレート穴軸線１５４に直交して延びる方向に長くなっている。【選択図】図１
