PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air flow diffusion apparatus having a favorable external appearance, capable of diffusing an air flow in a radial direction to the release direction and simultaneously improving the decorativeness and diffusion property.
SOLUTION: This air flow diffusion apparatus 10 is provided with a medical agent retaining body 15 retaining medical agent, a fan 14 for generating an air flow, and an air flow diffusion apparatus body 11 storing the medical agent retaining body 15 and the fan 14, wherein the air flow diffusion apparatus body 11 has an exhaust port 16 at its front face, and an intake port at its back face, and a shielding plate 17 having an outside diameter substantially same to or larger than the inside diameter of the exhaust port 16 is disposed in front of the exhaust port 16 adjacent thereto covering the exhaust port 16.
