PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a respiration assisting apparatus having a simple configuration which is easy to put on a subject.SOLUTION: The respiration assisting apparatus comprises a main unit 1 and a vibration generating section 2. The main unit 1 is configured to send an inhalation gas to the nasal cavities of the subject, and the vibration generating section 2 is configured to vibrate the inhalation gas. Because the main unit 1 has prongs to be inserted into the nasal cavities of the subject, the main unit can supply inhalation gas credibly.
