The manure supply tank or hopper (1) is mounted on a support frame (2), which is connected to the tractor three point coupling. A blower (3) supplies the manure distributor pipes (4) with pressurised air. This air is supplied via a distributor chamber (5) and injectors (6). The distributor pipes, divided over the manure spreader unit, are near the injectors with a supply hopper (9) below a metering mechanism. A hydraulic motor drives the metering mechanism. Parallel to the drive shaft is a further shaft interconnected by a spur gear pair. A rev counter fitted to a shaft provides regulated control for the unit. ADVANTAGE - Low maintenance cost.
