PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for ameliorating or preventing a herpesvirus infection.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, as a result of allowing a herpes virus-infected model to take bifidobacteria, a decrease in viral load occurs and the progress of an infectious symptom is suppressed. Furthermore, even if the immune function of the herpes virus infection model was decreased, its suppression effect is not affected.
