PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective method for controlling pollution of a contamination by campylobacter of chickens in a chicken farm.SOLUTION: The drink for controlling the campylobacter infection of the chickens is drinking water for the chickens, obtained by floating or suspending lactic bacteria in normal drinking water, and preferably obtained by further adding oligosaccharides promoting the proliferation of intestinal lactic bacteria thereto. The lactic bacteria are preferably bacteria having properties for maintaining the pH in the chickens intestines at about 5. The campylobacter present in the intestinal tract of the chickens can be excluded for a long period only by administering the drinking water obtained by adding the lactic bacteria, oligosaccharides and lactose to the chickens for one day. The occurrence of food poisoning caused by the campylobacter can be suppressed by administering the drinking water to the chickens before shipping.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】養鶏場の鶏のカンピロバクターによる汚染を防除する効果的な方法の提供。【解決手段】乳酸菌を通常の飲用水に浮遊または懸濁させた鶏用飲用水であり、好ましくはさらに腸内乳酸菌の増殖を促進するオリゴ糖を加えたものである。乳酸菌は、鶏腸内のpHを約5に維持する性状を有する菌であることが望ましく,乳酸菌とオリゴ糖さらには乳糖を加えた飲用水を、鶏に一日飲用させるだけで鶏の腸管に存在するカンピロバクターを長期間排除することができる。出荷前の鶏にこの飲用水を飲用させることによりカンピロバクターに起因する食中毒の発生は抑制される。【選択図】なし
