The purpose of the present invention is to provide an aerosol product for forming a gel composition said aerosol product having excellent storage stability and being capable of easily and stably forming a desired gel composition. This aerosol product for forming a gel composition is characterized by being provided with a dual structured container which comprises a filling space for a propellant and two filling spaces for a stock solution and is equipped with a discharge mechanism for simultaneously discharging the contents filled in the two filling spaces for a stock solution wherein: the filling space for a propellant is filled with a propellant comprising a compressed gas the first filling space for a stock solution is filled with a first stock solution composition containing water and a water soluble alginate the second filling space for a stock solution is filled with a second stock solution composition containing water and a dissociative calcium salt and when mixed together the first stock solution composition and the second stock solution composition form a gel composition.
