PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which prevents the propagation of weeds and hardly damage roots, and to provide a seedling transplantation method using the apparatus.SOLUTION: An apparatus of the present invention is a bottomless apparatus for use in seedling transplantation, in planting using a weeds prevention sheet. This apparatus comprises a cylinder part 1 in cylindrical shape, a collar 2 projecting outward from the cylinder part 1 over the entire circumference of the cylinder part 1, a cut 3 enabling the transformation of the cylinder part 1, and a weed prevention sheet can be mediated between the soil and the collar 2. Thereby, gaps where weeds can bud are eliminated and the propagation of weeds can be prevented. The cylinder part 1 is deformed at the time of planting of seedlings, thereby preventing strong rubbing between roots and the cylinder part 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2【課題】雑草の繁殖を防止し、かつ根に損傷を与え難い器具及びその器具を用いた苗の移植方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の器具は、防草シートを用いた植栽において、苗の移植に用いられる底なしの器具である。この器具は、円筒形の筒部１と、筒部１の全周に亘って筒部１から外に向かって突出する鍔部２と、筒部１の変形を可能にする切り込み３とを備えており、土壌と鍔部２との間に防草シートを介在させることが可能である。したがって、雑草が発芽し得る隙間をなくして、雑草の繁殖を防止し得る。また、苗を植える際に筒部１が変形して、根と筒部１が強く擦れ合うことを防止し得る。【選択図】図２
