The present invention discloses a supplement lamp for plant, comprising an LED light-emitting element installed at a tube shaped lamp holder having a heat transfer fluid flowing therein. Wherein, the tube shaped lamp holder and the LED are encapsulated in a transparent tube shaped lamp housing. The heat generated by the emitted LED is transferred to the tube shaped lamp holder and then is discharged out of the supplement lamp via the heat transfer fluid therein. Preferably, air is used as the heat transfer fluid. Due to the barrier of the tube shaped lamp housing, the heat generated by the emitted LED does not result in heat convection with the cultivation environment or directly affects the cultivated plants. Another embodiment further comprises a heat recovery unit.
